MACROSTATE

The idea for MACROSTATE came while doing some armchair research on the laws of thermodynamics — entropy, internal energy, heat and work, etc.

In physics, a macrostate is roughly defined as "the visible state of a collection of smaller microstates." At the time I was looking for a way to organize into a website all of the different things that interest me — visual design, user experience design, data visualization, branding, photography, etc.

Without knowing it, I was trying to create a macrostate of my creativity on the web. Learning about the term sparked the idea and I've worked with it ever since.
