I conducted a series of user experience activities before embarking on a redesign of this new site for musicians. In the process, I developed ways to streamline the rules around the shopping cart checkout process. I also came up with ways to make core aspects of the site more understandable to the user by restructuring the page content and navigation.

Serving as the bridge between the business strategy and technology groups I helped flesh out user personas and established and prioritize goals. From there, I created conceptual diagrams and site maps to better establish the ideas. Later, I drew up individual page schematics for a variety of content features and account management tools.

An in-progress project. Using Flash and XML I’m developing a site to help bring a quantitative understanding of the men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. These are the early schematics for the site.

Our favorite pet project is undergoing a redesign. The entire concept for the site has been rethought and new schematics created. Here’s a sample.
